He really was the last person she wanted to see. Pure hatred oozed from every pore on Natasha's body, filling the room they were stood in. Her arms were outstretched, both hands clutching identical pistols, the highly skilled assassin having drawn them as soon as she had realised who she was dealing with. Why was he here? The last Natasha had heard was that he had been taken back to Asgard with Thor. Of course, Thor had returned as an Avenger, but surely not with Loki in his wake?
Her piercing grey eyes stared him down, wanting to knock that annoying little smirk off his face. He had smirked at her constantly during her interrogation and she refused to be smirked at like that again. She was not going to let him get under her skin. One attempt and she would put a bullet in his leg. Another attempt and another bullet. It would be a vicious cycle until he understood that he couldn't mess with the Black Widow.
She would never forgive him for what he had done to Clint. She knew what it was like to be brainwashed, to act out another's wishes without fully knowing. Clint had been spared that feeling until Loki had gotten his hands on him and Natasha was still seething over that fact. She had scars on her body from the fight against Clint, the fight Loki had made him participate in, and those scars would forever be a reminder of the days her partner had turned against them all. Turned against me.
"Why are you here?" Natasha demanded. Her voice was steady, clear and cold as ice. "What more do you want? Answer me, ублюдок!"

Lol it sucks. I have no idea where I'm going with this, I just totally ran with it there. I don't know why Loki's here, or where they are for that matter. I'm guessing S.H.I.E.L.D got a lead on him and sent her in or something. Let's just see where this goes shall we?

The swish of Loki's coat as he turned was the only initial sound or response to Natasha's arrival. Her reaction told him more than most would realize - Thor had not told anyone about his return or that he'd been forced to choose between servitude and exile. While he was supposed to be making things 'right' with these apes, he held no desire in his heart to do so.
Perhaps, if he had been in his right mind, the thought would have been less offensive. But Loki was far from sane, the time between worlds and then with the Chitauri having left him cracked. He had been, in his own way, as much a victim of the Tesseract as those he'd put under it's influence - one had only to notice that his eyes had an oddly blue hue rather than their normal green. But few paid attention to such things, and even back home he'd been seen as a monster, a freak of nature, and punished.
He gave the redhead in front of him a smirk, instinctively knowing just what buttons to push - it was part of being the Trickster, after all. A long silence stretched out as he regarded the weapons aimed his way, his expression seemingly unfazed. Truthfully, he was seething inside. He wanted to tear the guns from her hands and then tear into the spy until she was screaming for mercy. He would let her think that he might, perhaps give it, and then jerk it away just as swiftly. Such thoughts probably revealed themselves in his eyes as he stared at her, tilting his head to one side.
A quirk of those sculpted lips, so different than the other Asgardians - but then, he wasn't one of them, was he? - and then he struck.
Not with force though. No. That would come later, should he get her off balance. Words were his weapon of choice now.
"I see you have changed very little in the time we've been apart. I hope you like what I gave to your 'precious' city. I plan to do more, and worse if given the chance."
He completely ignored her demand to know why he was there - she would hear it from Thor, soon enough, he was sure. He stepped forward, menace in every movement; the viper waiting to strike.
"I wonder if you enjoyed my handiwork aboard the heli-carrier and after. I assure - I did."
Green eyes flashed spiteful venom in her direction, that damnable smirk never leaving his face.

It's a good first post. ^_^ I'm going to assume they're in a hotel or safe house somewhere if that's all right, and that Thor [love him dearly, but sometimes....] didn't mention that he'd brought Loki back in exile.

The glare she was shooting him didn't falter as he spoke, nor did the position of her gun, which was aimed directly at him. She wouldn't hesitate to shoot and god or not, she would not let him die a painless death. His words brought forth a slight growl of anger from the back of her throat. She couldn't believe him.
"Oh believe me, I've changed. I no longer have the patience to deal with you. And if you think you're destroying anything again then you really are crazy."
He stepped forward and she stepped back automatically, her gun never wavering. Her finger was braced against the trigger, one little squeeze and she would shoot him. He didn't need to antagonize her much further before she would snap. He may be immortal, but a bullet through him would still be painful enough to satisfy the assassin.
"I told you before. You're a monster. You killed one of the most important people to me, you tried to kill another. I don't take that lightly."
She was still dealing with Agent Coulson's death. When Clint had brought her to SHIELD, him and Coulson had been the only people she could trust. And even in the beginning she hadn't trusted them fully. Coulson had grown to become the father she had never had. She would never forgive Loki for taking his life, nor for trying to take Clint's.

I'm so sorry this took so long! Safe house works for me and oooh Thor not mentioning Loki would stir some shit up in Natasha's world. Liking this!
